Thank you to everyone who came out to NXNW on Slaughter to meet Santa and take a photo to benefit Without Regrets. We had such a time enjoying the sunshine, good food, and great company. We are especially grateful to NXNW for hosting us at their venue and to Santa for taking time out of his busy schedule to stop by and meet the kiddos.
The holiday season is a time for family, and Without Regrets would not be able to carry on in its year-long mission to create lasting memories for families without the incredible support we get from you at events like Photos with Santa.
In fact, Santa was so pleased with all the families and children who support our organization, he said he is going to take extra special care of those gift requests and wish lists this Christmas.
While the Astros were having their most memorable season in franchise history, one of their biggest fans was diagnosed with colon cancer. Jason and his family reached out to Without Regrets via Wonders and Worries, another charity they are working with, hoping to travel to Houston and experience the Astros at Minute Maid Park.
Jason, his wife, and their three daughters were able to tour the stadium and spend the day soaking in the experience of their favorite team marching towards a World Series victory.
Cecilia had the following to say, “Our weekend in Houston was great and we had so much fun. Jason and I were blessed to be able to attend the game on Saturday. So his dream to see his Astros in the World Series was granted. Thank you again for making this possible.”
We were honored to help the Hernandez family create memories together in an historic time for their favorite team. This is the kind of support Without Regrets loves to give, and it’s an experience that will remain with the family forever.
